We only collect the data needed to run the course properly. This includes:

• Email address – for communication about the course, such as login, password reset, progress updates, or new learning material.
• First and last name – to address you correctly and to print on certificates, if applicable
• IP address – to help prevent abuse (such as hacking attempts) and to keep the website secure

Your data is only shared when necessary to carry out the course. This may include:internal staff (e.g., for issuing certificates), external suppliers (e.g., for hosting or email support). All involved parties are bound by confidentiality agreements.

Data retention

We only keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of the course, and always in line with legal requirements. If you’re inactive for two years, your data will be automatically deleted. This way, you can start fresh if you choose to sign up again later.

Our website uses three types of cookies:

• Session cookie – helps you navigate the course smoothly. This cookie disappears when you close your browser
• Necessary cookie – essential for the website to function properly
• Statistical cookie – collects anonymised usage data to help improve the website

Third-party cookies

• Google Analytics – to measure visits anonymously. Google may share data when legally required. We do not use this data for other Google services.
• Vimeo – to show embedded videos. These may place cookies that can identify you.

Your Rights & Contact

You may request that we delete your personal data at any time. In fact, you can do it yourself via the dashboard when you are logged into your account.
